The NASD proudly offers financial support to students through our scholarship program, helping make dance education accessible to families in our community.

Over the past year, more than $20,000 was donated by NASD teachers and staff, along with funds raised through local events and charitable partnerships. Additional ticket sales from our end-of-year recitals in May also provide significant support for NASD scholarships. Throughout the year, we are grateful for the many businesses and individuals who generously contribute to our monthly scholarship program.
We are honored to partner with the North Augusta Cultural Arts Council (NACAC), which has previously provided over $10,000 in Gift of Dance scholarships through the Kevin Kisner Foundation, benefiting dance students within the City of North Augusta. NACAC continues to play an important role in supporting dancers in our community.
We also extend a special thank-you to the RECing Crew and our ongoing partnership with them, as they help students of all ages with special needs participate in extracurricular activities, including weekly tap classes.
Every dollar donated goes directly to a local student—helping the dance arts thrive in our community.

Scholarship Coverage

Scholarship funds apply to class tuition only

Tuition does not include registration fees, attire, team fees, camps, events, master classes, or costumes

Scholarship funds are credited directly to NASD accounts; no cash is awarded

For currently enrolled students, approved scholarships apply moving forward only; no back credits or reimbursements are provided

Students receiving scholarships (and their families) agree to uphold appropriate behavior, work ethic, integrity, and required attire while on NASD property

Attire and shoes are not provided or covered by scholarships

Scholarships are awarded season to season and do not roll over; reapplication is required each season
Each application is carefully reviewed by the NASD Scholarship Committee and assessed based on financial need, academic standing, and behavior. Dance ability is not a determining factor.
