This past year over $20,000 was donated by NASD teachers and staff, in addition to funds raised through local events and charitable partnerships. Additional ticket sales from our end-of-year recitals in May provide significant support for NASD scholarships.
Throughout the year, we proudly thank the many businesses and individuals who generously contribute in support of the monthly scholarships we offer to our students.
We are honored to partner with the North Augusta Cultural Arts Council, which in the past provided over $10,000 in Gift of Dance scholarships through the Kevin Kisner Foundation, benefiting dance students in the City of North Augusta. The NACAC continue today to be a wonderful part of supporting dancers in our community.
We also extend a special thank-you to the RECing Crew and our ongoing partnership with them, as they help students of all ages with special needs participate in extracurricular activities, including weekly tap classes.
Every dollar donated goes directly to a student in our local community—helping the dancing arts thrive.

Application must be completed in full and once submitted, changes or additions will not be accepted.

Scholarship money covers class tuition.

Tuition does NOT include required registration fees, attire, team fees, camps, events, master classes or costumes.

Scholarship money is credited to accounts through the NASD only and physical money is not handed out or awarded.
Required Documents:
A completed application form.
*Non-enrolled students must completely fill out & attach registration form
1 letter of recommendation.
1 of the following options to provide proof of household income: Paycheck stubs, tax return or bank statements. Provide most recent.

If you are already currently enrolled, approved applications only provide financial assistance moving forward with future tuition payments. No credits or back reimbursements.

Student awarded scholarships along with siblings, parents or guardians agree to uphold behavior, work ethic, integrity while in class and on NASD property at all times. Students must honor the required attire needed. Attire and or shoes are not provided or covered under scholarships.

Scholarships are season to season and scholarships do not roll over into new seasons. You must re-apply each season.

Each application is carefully reviewed by our NASD Scholarship Committee. Scholarships are assessed on financial needs, good grades and behavior. Dance ability is a non-determining factor. Once application is submitted, allow 3 to 5 business days for approvals. Approvals are valid for 30 days.

Scholarships awarded can be partial or full funded scholarships and are based on each application received and funds our committee has available on hand.
